Waterless Ceramic product

ArizonaHardwood

Question

I understand that you have discontinued the Ceramic Waterless Product.

I can only speculate that it had something to do with it being both waterless and ceramic together.

I use it as a drying assist on my ceramic coated car (stunning, flawless, black Cadillac) I never used it as a waterless wash because as good as waterless might be it leaves microscratches in the black paint which are obvious in strong light.

I did find that on a freshly washed vehicle it was an exceptional drying aid and since there was no dust or grit of any kind on a freshly washed car, there were also no micro-scratches. It did an exceptional job of breaking down the beads of water and making drying not only easier but leaving a stunning finish coat behind.

If this was discontinued for scratching reasons, please consider rebranding it as a post wash drying aid for ceramic finished cars it works phenomenally.

Yes, it was discontinued. However, CS3 is a close comparison and should provide similar or even better results.

Another awesome product that was just released is Rinse Aid. I'd highly recommend it! (PS @RayS I'm looking at you...well, really, Mary!)

By the way, those micro scratches you're referring to are likely caused by a couple of things. One is the car is too dirty, and/or it's the towels and how they're cared for. Changing something in the routine will probably help. But black cars do show more!

I'm going to guess you are in Arizona based on your name and if so you can have some of the same challenges that I do with the fine dust, read sand, particles that end up on the vehicles.  Even the wife's garage queen can get some on the body when the garage has been closed up and the winds get cranked up.  For that, I've found that around 40-60 psi in the air compressor with a wide nozzle will get the particles off the vehicle.  For the daily drivers and outside vehicles, they get a rinse to start a wash, especially during pollen season since dust the particles lock into the pollen.

The garage queen can go a few months without coming out of the garage so the waterless wash, detail spray and CS3 all work like a charm since it is just light dust on the vehicle and I'm not trying to remove road grime.  Have no doubt that the towels used on the garage queen are in pristine condition and even kept inside the house in their own rack that the wife bought just for those towels.

No two vehicles are going to have the exact same environmental conditions so it is hard to truly compare one to another and hopefuly the information I've passed will help you look at options for your vehicles conditions.
