Convertible Top

Cyclone

Question

So we are shopping for Heather's next car. She has decided to get a Mustang 99-04 body style.

We are looking through different cars and such, and the only thing I keep looking at is "How much Adam's will it take the first time"

Anyways, I am stumped... A lot of what we are looking at are convertibles. Now, living in Florida having the top down will be awesome. However, how do we care for it if we were to get one? The Florida sun is harsh and obviously I do not want dry rot or leaking issues. Keep in mind we do not have a garage so it gets parked outside (although soon that may change and be under a carport).

Just trying to find out the maintenance ideas before we consider buying one. If not, a coupe it will be!

This is my personal opinion and I do not look down upon people who buy them but I would personally never have a DD in a convert w/o a roll cage. I just think they are too dangerous if you would ever get flipped over or be hit. Really not meant to offend anyone.
