Proper Detail Spray shaking?

I know you have to shake DS quite a bit to do the right thing, but I'm a little lazy at times, so here is what I do:

 

1. Tie DS bottle to my 105 lb. black lab dog.

2. Yell, "UPS truck!", she instantly thinks it's a dog snack delivery.

3. She spins in a circle about 5 times, runs full speed back & forth in the yard, hops up & down at the fence about 20 times.

4. I untie the bottle and tell her I was just kidding.

5. She lays dow, exhausted, dreaming of the next snack order.

6. I DS my Vette and microfiber away.

 

Does that sound like the proper method? :cheers:

I thought you tied it to the rim... went out and had some fun getting the car a little dusty...

 

Then came back and used it to clean the fresh dust !

Best way to shake up product: Fix it on the backing plate of a Porter Cable 7424, ramp up to speed 6!

Did you just get done watching POLICE ACADEMY when they tied the flashlights to the two dogs!!!

I may very well be a Dumas, but I don't recall the need to shake DS. I buy it 5 gallons at a time, and I've never agitated my monster jug. I also don't shake my small sprayers.

 

I've never seen it seperate or anything.

 

Have I failed to read something on the label for the past 2 years, or am I missing something here...

I received two 16 oz bottles of DS in my last order.

I've been using 1 while the other has sat on the shelf for about a week or so now.

I can definitely see "something" settling on the bottom of the bottle.

Not very much, but it's there for sure.
