UPS tells me that mine will be here on Friday! :2thumbs: Perhaps I won't be painting my deck this weekend as planned... The only bad thing is that the pollen is like a snow storm up now. I need to wait for that to chill out before I can get a good detail on.

So, we sold the first 300 units in 7 hours, and more is coming tomorrow, and we are pouring 80/ day every day this week until the orders slow down. This is not some big company thing, the Americana is mixed 5-gallons at a time.

We went through a ton of tweaks and changes before making it right. Finally, the only way to make it act like we wanted it to, and maintain perfect consistency in each batch, was to keep the batch size small.

Thanks for your patience, and I never would have guessed that it would have been such a popular product! :2thumbs:

Devin, we get about 60 tubs, as each pour is 12oz, but then hardens to about 8oz of pure paste. It's not an easy task, and this is no big outfit! :2thumbs:

Perhaps you could learn the correct process for the Americana so that you can make, package, and ship it out from the East Coast. This would allow for increased production and quicker time to market. :lolsmack:

Perhaps even a limited edition "C6Bill" enhanced Americana....

MINE JUST SHOWED UP!!

Initial impressions:

Tub is much larger than I was expecting... thats a BIG 8oz

Smell is great... haven't pegged what it smells like yet, but this is another product from Adams that I will have to resist eating.

Love the applicator... can't wait to use it, very good design.

Took one of the small flakes from inside the lid and rubbed it between my fingers, it went liquid with very little rubbing, should apply like a dream.

The polishing cloth looks awesome.

Now I've got to find time to give the TBSS a bath and get crackin' on this stuff

my delivery date is monday the 18th!! that means ill get it on friday the 15th!! yeah!! for some reason with all my orders from here have came the business day before scheduled. i dont know why, and its only when i order from adams, ups is right on all my other packages.

weird how it has been happening, but im not complaining!

Just got mine! I agree with Dylan, that is a big 8oz even with the applicator sitting in it. The smell is great, smells like Pez :thumbsup:

I ordered APW, 1 gal DS, and 1 gal APC about 10 minutes ago.

I've only been aware of the existence of Adam's for a few weeks now and I'm completely hooked. I did a full interior detail on the wife's 06 Pacifica last weekend and I'm blown away by how good it looks. I've only had a chance to do a test on the hood of my kid's Civic with my new PC thus far, but I've never,ever gotten results like this and I'm pretty picky when it comes to polishing and waxing.

I'm going out to wash the Pacifica in a few minutes. Clay barring starts tonight and the weekend is pretty much set aside for a full exterior detail. Film at 11.... :glasses:

just got home about 20 min ago and I did the same thing.... took a sliver and rubbed it between my fingers. Compared to the stuff that I've been using, this seems more "waxy?" I don't care what the consistency is, the proof is what it looks like on the paint which I will have on Sunday (if it EVER stops raining)
