So... my wife thinks I'm nuts.

Team Adam's

Question

I got a chance to break my 4" pads in on that Infiniti I posted earlier this past weekend and was super impressed.

I got a little bored tonight, seeing as the Lakers were playing terrible and my Angels were getting blown out by the whitesox. I wandered down to the garage, grabbed my SHR and FMP, the cordless drill, and the 4" pads.

I've been complaining for weeks that my wife had scratched up our gloss black microwave that I had just installed over the stove. Her nails and rings had put some pretty decent scratches in around the handle and it was already looking bad even though it was only a few months old.

So I went to work with the orange pad and some SHR and was utterly astounded by the results, so much so I continued to buff out the whole thing. Midway thru my wife woke up and wandered out to the kitchen wondering what the noise was. Needless to say she officially thinks I have gone off the deep end.

I've cut my appliance detail short, but I intend or resuming tomorrow after she leaves for work. I'm thinking a coat of buttery is in order.

For the recored... the 4" pads are amazing and will make your microwave look like new... oh... and they work on cars too :D

Nice work. I'm constantly getting busy on our stainless steel kitchen stuff. Sorry, I can't stand the fingerprints and stuff from the kids.

My wife looks at me like I'm from another world. "All that stuff- you're always cleaning cars and now the appliances?" I tell her, "Honey, this keeps me out of the strip clubs and Indian casinos!"

She just shakes her head and walks away... Adam, some day I may need a place to stay, brother.

Ha ha my girlfriend thinks I'm crazy too. That's just part of being a detailer I guess. It's weird you mention that. We have a really old yellow color stove. I thought that was the color things turned when they got old, but no, it was made to be that color. Anyhow I was messing with the paste wax melting some in between my fingers and didn't know what to do with it. I wanted to use it on something so I began to look at the chrome handles on the stove. They sure are shiny now. I probably shouldn't have said anything but I told her I put some wax on the chrome and she looked at me like I was crazy. Can we get some pics of the microwave after some butter? lol :lolsmack:

I might provide pictures tomorrow... I've been drinking today so hopefully the results still look good when I sober up tomorrow.

Mine too. I cleaned our Ionic Breeze air cleaner with 50/50 Green Wheel Cleaner on Saturday. It got all the soot (from candles) off the case and looks brand new now! Also did all the laptop and computer screens with Detail Spray on a Adam's MF towel last week.

My wife was complaining about all the 'shower scum' that she could not get off in the shower in our truck. I looked at it and it's just gel coated fiberglass. So out came the Adams stuff.................:pc:

Now the water beads up and cleaning the shower is a snap. :lolsmack:

Holy crap, I never knew you could get a shower in those trucks. My uncle just bought a new Kenworth, but no shower, lol.

It's not the truck as much as it is the custom sleeper. The sleeper company

ARI http://www.legacysleepers.com/ builds the sleepers and installs them on most any truck.

After 30 years on the road I think we deserve a little bit of luxury.
