01Bullitt
Took my car to a show last weekend in a cramped area. After getting it home, I noticed someone had put a fairly good size scratch in the top of my bumper. Any ideas on what I can use to get the scratch out? I think it's beyond Swirl and Haze. 0 01Bullitt
I finally got a picture of the scratch. It doesn't look deep, only long.
0 estecoca
from that pic, it looks like it is only a clear-coat scratch. at best it would only take a porter cable, orange pad and some Swirl & Haze remover (followed by the rest of the PC process with FMP, etc). At worst, it would take some minor sanding (again, as someone suggested, checkout the Junkman videos on wet sanding). all in all, I wouldnt be too concerned about that one... 0 01Bullitt
Thanks. I'll try Swirl and Haze.
0 dhh_93
yeah that doesnt look that bad. it might take a couple passes but SHR and a PC w/ orange pad should take care of it.

0 Junkman2008
yeah that doesnt look that bad. it might take a couple passes but SHR and a PC w/ orange pad should take care of it. Once I fix my computer, I can create and upload new videos that address scratches like this. My new pad destroying technique would resolve this issue.
