Washing/Seperating all Towels

Question

How do you guys/gals seperate your towels for washing? I have the standard blue fluffy MF towels, the Blue Glass cleaning towels, the great white drying towels, the blue waterless wash towels, and the wash mitts, all ADAMS of course. I know the mitts can't be washed with the towels but how should I seperate them? And what wash method works best for each type?

I have always washed them all together in the machine (blue, white drying and glass)

I do the gentle cycle on a large load setting (more water) with just a touch of APC and some regular liquid detergent.

After that wash cycle I do it again without APC and detergent.

Then dry on air or very low heat.

Never had a problem with any of the towels, but after reading the glass towel thread above I may do those seperate from now on.

When I got back from Corvettes at Carlisle I threw the waffle weave and the plush microfiber towels together in the wash.

Because of ALL the rain at Carlisle I detailed and waterless washed my vette 6 or 7 times.

All together I used 14 of the Adam's towels

The vette is home now and it still looks awesome after my first- ever 5 trips this weekend in the rain (The vette previously has never been in the rain)
