CWBowen
How do you tell when it's time to pitch the clay? I just started using it and I tore off about 1/3 to use so how much life should I expect?
0 Team Adam's
When you fold it in on itself a few times, stretch it out, work it back to a pancake and the bar still looks dirty, its time to pitch it.

I know it depends on how dirty the car is, but in your experience how long have you been able to use the same piece?

0 Nitelord
After I stop using the clay on my paint (I agree - probably 4 -6 vehicles), I save a piece or two and use it only on the wheels. I just keep it in a zip-lock baggie (for wheels only).

Your spouse will love you.
0 Doug123
If you use the old used claybar on shower doors, do you just use soap and water as a lube?

Your spouse will love you. Not saying a clay bar doesn't work, but hands down the best thing for glass shower doors............a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. And if it's real bad, spray a little CLR on the glass beforehand. Be sure to rinse after use though.

0 whiterp199
I go by looks. Whenever it is looking dingy or has dirt in it it goes down the line. It ether becomes glass clay or wheel clay.
