Andrew Saft
Hi Everybody, I guess I will have to think up a slick screen name. In the mean time, I'm really getting into the info. and posts here. I'm in Harrisburg, PA. and have 9 cars. It's a lot to detail Whew I will list them and post some pictures when I have more time. I do have a question that someone might be able to elp me with. I have the 7336SP PC. It is only good for 6" pads. I ordered the new pads and I think they are 5". Does anyone know where I can get the 5" counter weight? Is there a conversion kit? And, what kind of screw driver do I need to get the existing weight off the PC? Would it be easier to sell this one and buy the new one? I've only used it once and only for a little while. I've never felt comfortable with it until last weekend at Corvetts at Carlisle when The Junk Man spent some time showing me how to handle it. Thanks AJ. You're the Man. I appreciate any help Andy
Junkman2008
Hey Andy, I'm right here to continue helping you out. First of all, don't bother changing the counter-weight. The Adam's pads are actually 7" pads. Put the yellow backing plate on the PC you have and slap on the pads. The counter-weight issue comes into play when you are using a much heavier backing plate with bigger pads at high oscillations. You won't have that issue using Adam's pads with the yellow backing plate. So have a go at it and keep your money in your pocket! Let me see that Vette when you get it finished.
