boltsfan
Interior is black MB Tex on 2009 C300. Even damp Adam's MF towels (blue) leave some lint on the seats... Have issues getting "stuff" vacuumed or cleaned up in between the seats and doors. Area is almost too small to even fit my hand down there. I use a mini vacuum to clean carpet mats. I use compressed air to clean out vents, shifter, etc... Don't have the $$ to drop on the Adams car vacuum (maybe for Christmas!). Any ideas...? 0 Bill-V8V
For those hard to reach spots I use one of those little foam paint brushes with VRT or LC on it. You can usually get a package of 10 for less than $2 at a discount store
0 Marylander
Or a lint roller, or strip of masking tape turned inside out... sometimes that's all it takes to get down into a narrow spot to get the worst of the debris out.
0 70'sChevyGirl
Yeah what Rich said. On your seats, try the leather conditioner. I have never had anything left behind while using a MF towel with it plus it smells really good. Bill, Neat idea with the foam paint brush!! 0 Junkman2008
You should wash you MF towels when you first get them. No soap, cold water. That will eliminate the lint issue.
0 boltsfan
Good idea on the foam paint brush... I'll pick some up tonight at Home Depot. I heard it was not a good idea to use any leather cleaner\conditioner on the MB Tex (vinyl but looks like leather). Can someone confirm... I got blue MF towels reaplced when the others were leaving lint. I did not wash the new ones before using either... washing them tonight with Woolite on gentle cycle and then drying on low.
