0 694doorbird
It might work on large smooth dents, but not anything deep and sharp. After reading some of the comments after the video, I'd be a little leary. One of said it MIGHT damage the paint, but PROBABLY not.
0 Marylander
Interesting idea. I might work on SOME dents, but I bet most are a little more involved. I might give it a first-attempt try it on a beater, but not a high-end car I care too much about.
0 jpu471
was this to remove a dent in the metal? i have used a blow dryer to pop dents from plastic bumpers, very satisfying especially the pop sound, but metal?
0 Chewy
It said; did any damage happen to the paint? I'd say HELL YES! Not sure when but man it looked bad! lol  Neat idea. I've done this in the sun with ice cubes on little non metal stretching dents.
0 Memphis Senior
Looks interesting. I've got a 1.5"-2" diameter dent in the lower rear panel of my truck bed, near the bumper. I was thinking I would use some sort of suction device to try to pop it out. Might give this a try. The truck us 12 years old DD. So no big deal if I mess something up. It will have to wait until next spring though. I'm heading west for the winter soon. Edited September 19, 2009 by Memphis Senior
0 Tundra5-0
This very similar to the dry ice theory. I knew a guy who removed a couple of dents from a clean black car. It only left a small rainbow effect behind, but the dents were gone. You could only see the mark if you really looked for it.
0 JJ1o87
Awesome, I'm going to go try this on the challenger now. Well, maybe not. But interesting idea!
0 mc2hill
I tried this on my son's 92 Crown Vic. It has a large dent on the back of the trunk lid. It didn't work but the can got very cold.
