Daily use of DS = too much?

Since we're in our summer now in San Francisco, I've been using DS almost daily before taking my car out (it's my daily driver). Is this too much? Since there's no wax or cleaner, there shouldn't be any build up, correct?

 

I'm also using the Waterless Wash on my wheels (painted silver - I believe) to remove brake dust and once in a while a little DS afterward.

You sir are the reason waterless wash was created!!

 

Detail spray does have some small amounts of gloss enhancer in it, overtime you can build up too much of this and start to see a slightly cloudy finish... nothing that can't be fixed with a quick wash with a bucket and hose.

 

Waterless wash on the other hand has no gloss enhancers, so it leaves behind no residue, which means no build up. So in your case I'd suggest using the waterless wash more frequently and use the detail spray to give you shine a little bump once and a while.

DS'ing every day seems like a bit much. WW would be a much better (and safer) choice.

Thing is...I only drive the gto 1 day a week for maybe 50 miles a week...and I wash it every week or 2...so the other days it sits in the garage and it stays pretty clean...but i still want some!

The waterless wash comes off so smooooth.

Followed by Detail spray my vette is going to stay shiny and clean all winter (The moon beam dust doesn't stand a chance with Adam's around!)
