LMAO... I love that picture... the guy who does all my work has that right in front of the chair you sit in while hes working on you along with a sign that says "Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good"

I learned the hard way at an early age... being the young rebellious punk kid I was I decided at 16 I would let my buddy tattoo my right arm. He had very little experience, but I was determined to piss my parents off. So I sat for 6 hours in the living room of his crappy apartment getting my first ink. He went too deep and scarred my arm pretty good, and didn't do the best job making clean lines.

When I grew up a little bit and decided I wanted good tattoos I realized how truly crappy my first ink was, but in a weird way I wouldn't change a thing. Its a constant reminder of how it feels to be young, stupid, and rebellious. I always look at it and smile.

I've since been getting pieces done over the years, but I will only go to Corey Millers Studio (6 Feet Under) If you've ever watched "LA Ink" with Kat Von D you know who Corey is.... hes really a great guy and has one of the best shops around. I actually have an appointment to go under the needle to finish the piece on my ribs on the 29th.

LOL.. tell me about it. I toughed my way thru the outline faze awhile ago, but truth be told I was biting my lip and fighting back tears each time he'd do a pass over a rib bone... good lord it was excruciating... now I'm going in to have it filled in. Outline took about 3 hours... fill in will probably be in the neighborhood of 6... why do I do this to myself?

Corey is a super cool dude, I just wish he'd introduce me to Kat Von D

yeah - the ribs suck. have about 5 hrs into the piece on mine. the side of the neck was no fun either. none of them feel great, but some areas are a heck of a lot easier to tolerate than others. my chest was pretty painful as well. everybody is different though.
