How to remove vinyl graphic from window?

About a year ago one of my friend who have a vinyl graphics cutter though it was funny to put this stupid 1'x1' logo on my back window and some of our other friends.

 

So how to remove vinyl graphic from window? My other friend scratched his glass using a razor blade.

You should be able to remove it with a razor blade, but it needs lubrication (just like a clay bar!). The cheapest thing to use is a spray bottle of water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid in it. Wet it down well and you can scrape it off with the blade.

just keep the blade at a really steep angle while working and you should be fine. use a little APC and a rag to remove any residual adhesive, then when your done a drop of SHR and polish to get rid of any outlining that might show up.

 

Finish with glass cleaner and your glass should be perfect.

Good idea, my mom has a steam machine I'm sure I could borrow. What about the factory tint in the windows?

I may be off base on this, but I am assuming the decal/sticker is on the outside and the tint is on the inside. Therefore the steam will not affect the inside tint.

I meant the sticker was on the outside.

 

As for factory tint, I have no idea. I googled it and found some threads that did hinted that the tint is infact in the glass.

There's always the hairdryer/fishing line trick. I've used that in the past to get decals and emblems off of cars. Heat the decal with a hair dryer (or the steam machine) and pull a length of fishing line taut up against any side of the decal and try and get it underneath. once you do, it should come right up. A little bit of 3M adhesive remover will take care of the rest and you won't end up scratching the glass like a razor could.

The G8 doesn't have window tint from the factory. If it's your P/U truck then it's IN the glass not on it.
