Metal Polish Results

Since we just bought this 70 Camaro I decided to try out some Metal Polish on the rims and the front bumper. They were all in pretty bad shape because I don't think anyone ever detailed them before.

 

Here are before and after pics.

 

This is the nasty looking bumper that I was working on:

The rims weren't in much better shape when I started:

I ended up not being able to finish the back bumper but I will finish it when I get a few extra minutes. :rockon:

 

The Metal Polish is very easy to use but next time I will wear gloves because I hate that black guck up underneath my finger nails. :D

I have a 1980 corvette with the stock aluminum rims that are in bad shape after sitting for about 8 years!!!

 

What do guys and girls think? will the metal polish work on them?? :willy:

IF they are not clear coated which i would not think they are. then the mp will do wonders for them. but just to make sure post some pic and we can tell ya

Just hold off until your paint has cured and the streets are cleared up in a few weeks hopefully, and bring it over here and we can give it a try :thumbsup:
