way2evil
How do you remove all the wax from a car? I heard some people say use dawn but I have heard many more say that dawn is a bad idea. Any advice?

0 Bill-V8V
Lots of ways besides Dawn. Clay, 50/50 IPA mix or just polishing

0 Team Adam's
Clay and polish will remove wax, the drawback is that it clogs up your pads. Dawn is OK to use as long as its only 1-2 times a year. More than that you risk drying out your trim excessively and creating other issues.
0 BobbyG
Depending on the type of wax you use and the frequency it's applied, wax degrades over time and will disappear naturally. This is one of the reasons you see water beading up after a fresh detail and at some point it just sheets and leaving a dull appearance. Dawn dishwashing detergent does work well in removing wax. I use it and so does just about everyone else here. I also use it to wash my polish / wax pads.

0 bigred vette
I also use it to wash my polish / wax pads. Not sure how well that would work since I've never tried it, I've always used the APC.
