Well today is our 6th wedding anniversary yup i put up with her this long and she is still alive :D (as i look around the room as im typing this lol) at any rate she wanted a dutch oven which i obliged and gave her but she threatened to throw me out of the bed if i did that again . Then she explained to me what a dutch oven was and then i realized its something you cook with lol anyway we went to La Creuset and they had a nice one discontinued model on sale already marked down from like 280 dollars to like 240 then i got another 40% off of that also picked up a pannini press a real one that was like 80 bucks but marked down 25% plus some other odds and ends utensils all that was 25% as well so total when done was 243 bucks. Oh and this thing is cast iron and like painted and stuff really heavy too must weigh a good 20 or 25 pounds too. this is what she wanted for our anniversary so this is what she got. Well ive been in the market for a lcd tv and finally picked one up last night, I got a sharp aquos 40 inch 1080 p with 120 hrtz true flow. I went to PC richards yesterday in east brunswick NJ they are celebrating 100th anniversary so this tv was originally marked at 1099 marked down to 977 and then on sale for 877. Well i looked at it but I asked about the police and fire discount so my price was actually 850 dollars which is cool too but ontop of that i got a sharp blueray dvd player listed for 250 bucks for free ! so I decided to try and get a pcrichard credit card as well because if i use that i get 23 months no interest also. I said where do i sign lol so tomorrrow i go to the cable company and pick up my HD box for the tv and it fills my room it might actually be to big for the room but at least now you can see it from my dining room table maybe now i may use my table instead of tv trays lol.:party::bravo:

Welcome to middle-age/comfortable marriage. I've been married 10 years and I've discovered that major appliances are to women what porn is to men -- you wouldn't believe how excited my wife got when we had a new washer and dryer delivered last week. :jester:

That is not the kind of porn I like Rich.

Give me some new aluminum heads or a new shiny air cleaner, diamonds or gold and I'm a happy camper. sFun_thewave.gif

Congrats on your Anniversary.

Cool & congratulations, and a funny story too.

Mine is not too excited about appliances, but loves car parts, I got her chrome valve covers for our sixth, and a new bumper for our 15th.

Never did the dutch oven...

Bruce
