Coach66
I have used something wrong in my engine department. My aluminum air cleaner and valve covers have got what I thought were water spots, but NOTHING I have tried even makes a dent in removing them. I have not tried Adams Metal polish, will it work? 0 Rich
Sounds like oxydation. You may have to buy some oxydation remover and then use Metal polish or a specially made aluminum polish. You can get the remover and aluminum polish at any auto parts store. Let us know how it works out for you.
0 Bluezey
I've found out that certain cleaning products are real hard on polished aluminum, the first that comes to mind is Super clean, my brother banned that stuff from his house, lol. and at car washes the engine cleaning mode will turn aluminum white also. I think that Adam's Metal Polish should be able to take off your spots. Bluezey
