Glass Cleaner + Glass Towel = Really clean screen on your computer, flat screen, NAV unit, iPOD, iPhone, Blackberry . . . . . . . . . . .

(Also a great towel to use with it: Waffle Waterless Towel.)

i have told my fiance that she can use my Adam's stuff to clean anything she would like from leather to glass to anything else she can think of which in turn allows me to buy more Adam's stuff :lolsmack:

Distilled water with a microfiber cloth. That will usually take care of most smears and finger prints. If that doesn't do it and you need a little more power, make a water and vinegar or IPA solution that's at max 1:1. As with other electronics, do it with the power off and make sure it's dry before turning it back on. You don't want to let the smoke out.

Make sure you never use anything on it that contains ammonia, ethyl alcohol, acetone, toluene, ethyl acid, or methyl chloride. They'll destroy the screen.

Yes, glass cleaner is fine on a computer screen. It's also perfectly safe (and very effective) on nav screens. Just use common sense, of course, and don't spray wildly into vents and sensitive electronic parts.

:iagree: I haven't tryed it yet but AJ says he uses the Glass Cleaner on his screen.

After reading AJ using it on computer screens, I got it out and did all my LCD monitors (5), my LCD TV and my DLP TV screen. They now are super clean.

I used it after aj's tip. It works great.

Man, where's the love? I post the answer and AJ get's all the props? :willy::lolsmack:

IMO it depends on the screen. Glass screens (macbook air and some higher end laptops as well as plasma TVs) I would use the glass cleaner. For the other types of screens (soft plastic) panels I prefer the use of detail spray.

In either case I spray onto the microfiber then wipe the screen, never spray directly onto the display.
