The Camino really have that big of a cooling system? I know with diesels we have to do that but with my Mustang even in cold weather it will jump right up to operating temperature.

Cool vid btw :)

No. I have a direct drive fan on the engine that won't allow it to heat up in the winter, and causes it to overheat in the summer if I don't keep moving. I'm going to change it over to an electric fan system sometime this week.

It is hard to tell the speed you were going. I guess you signaled with all the lane changes.:)

Of course! After all, I got my driving habits from my years as a cop in L.A.!

I thought I heard that engine knocking at the end. lol

That's called "engine lope" my friend! That is the sign of a big ol' cam in the engine. The first time I heard it, I thought the car needed a tune up real bad because the idle was so rough. However, the only cars that I had owned up until then were land sharks... Cadillac's and Buick's. They don't idle anything like the Mean O' Camino!

Hahahahaha! Engine heater? :lolsmack:

You are simply fanfreakingtastic my friend!

:D

So are you going to let me drive at the Jazz Fest? :D

Did you do the on screen texting while driving?

Dude, there is no one one the planet that text as slow as I do. It took me 10 minutes to answer a booty call with the reply, "Yes." Don't text me and expect an answer on the same day! :lolsmack:

I love it. I know our 85 el camino is a beast to drive with a 350 crate motor in her. we can get it to light them up shifting into 2nd gear.

I will have to put a video or at least a few pics up later:)

I broke the rear tires loose when I hit second gear getting on that freeway at the beginning of the video! The darm car always tries to find a telephone pole when I do that! :willy:
