JerseyGator
Who has dry, cracking, dirty hands with splitting finger nails from detailing? Well I did, but my wife bought me a box of disposable gloves (less than $7 for 100, for chemicals). Think it was for her benefit as well as mine! One thing though... I feel like a proctologist everytime I start detailing!
mcss383
It dries my hand out too, but I hate wearing latex gloves so I won't wear them unless I am working with something nasty like resin, epoxy, glue, etc.

Team Adam's
I tried rubber gloves for awhile, but the loss of tactile feedback forced me to go back to bare handed detailing. After 13 or so years of this my hands are dry, cracked, and nasty, especially around my fingernails. Every once in a while... as I need it I do a mini-MAN-icure I also regularly use this stuff... of course I have to venture into a Sephora to get it - http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P214501&categoryId=B70

Thanks for all the great replies. I'll see if I can swipe my wifes Sephora gift card.
