Team Adam's
Paul Dalton is a great detailer and an even smarter business person. The pricing is just as much about exclusivity and prestige as it is about the amount of care that goes into the work. People with endless supplies of money like to overpay for things so they can brag about how much it cost. Can't fault Paul for tapping into that market... I would if I could. GGEVOXFTMFW
swissvax divine, ive wasted 250 on concorso didnt like it at all. If you google details in uk thats ALL they use, every shop uses divine and charges that much. Plus they keep your car for like three four days. Its nuts. Think I might move and open a shop over there haha. http://www.prestigedetailing.co.uk/page9.htm
Detail ExTreMisT
I love Paul Daltons work, he's one of the most amazing detailers I've ever seen, but I think the products he uses are grossly over-priced. As another has pointed out, it's 250.00 dollars for concorso wax which contains a 50 percent volume of pure caurnauba wax, yet the crystal rock wax contains 75 the volume and is 1100.00 dollars. So basically for 25 percent more volume your paying 1100.00 dollars when 50 percent is 250. All I can say is wow. Price jacked up for exclusivity. Beautiful as Dalton's work is, I've seen some cars on this forums "before and after" thread which would easily rival his work and this is using Adams products which is hella cheaper. I've seen some finishes here that look like MIRRORS, exactly what his work also produces yet with a different product. The only thing I haven't seen done yet is the ridiculous water beading by his wax. So if we can produce the same effect for a cheaper price, which products do you think I'm going to use? Adams FTW.
