Adam
Jeff, it's certainly easy to remove any residue off the trim left by BW or Americana. HOWEVER: In our detailing system, I ALWAYS suggest using VRT on the trim before you ever start polishing, or waxing. That makes for zero, or nearly zero transfer to your trim. One more point, while we are at it: Older trim oxidizes, and becomes porous. Porous trim has a much higher potential of holding polish or wax residue. What I do: Use VRT before polish or wax. If a car has white residue on the trim, remove it with APC on a microfiber towel. Even the cheapest, bright-white residue from ultra-low grade wax comes off trim easily with our APC and a microfiber towel.

blackberrypilot
Thanks for the quick replies. Adam, keep up the great work! Your products are by far the easiest to work with and deliver extraordinary results. What I think you need now is a long term/weatherproof protectant for rubber/plastic pieces. Darth_Emma
Dang, and I just bought a roll of painter's tape today to stop the trim from getting polish/wax on it. I'll just use the VRT first.
Bill-V8V
Tape is great for when you are polishing but the VRT tip Adam mentioned is great for when just putting on a coat of wax
whiterp199
I never thought to do VRT first. I am going to try that tomorrow.
11chevz71
I never thought to do VRT first. I am going to try that tomorrow. Another nice thing about it is if you get it on the paint you are going to take it off with the wax.
