GerryC
I finally had a day with good weather and no classes, so I cleaned the engine, undercarriage, wheels, and tires, and I washed the car. Sometime early next week (spring break) I will pull it into the garage for clay/shr/polish/superwax/americana Exhaust tips - Undercarriage - Engine - Wheels & tires - After a wash Once I do the paint correction I'll add photos of the swirls, etc. Trust me there are a ton of them, even on the brake light lenses
Chewy
Looks great! The engine cover was the first thing to get yanked from mine...

whiterp199
Nice Gerry! Your engine cover is different than mine. Gerry has the v6. Not that there is anything wrong with that. It is still a great car.
GerryC
Chris has a V6 as well, judging by the wheels. What does it look like?

GerryC
Thanks, I'm very anxious to hit it with clay and the PC to make it cleaner than clean....which IS possible I've seen ladybugs try to land on my corvette, but slide off because they can't grip onto anything. whiterp199
Chris has a V6 as well, judging by the wheels. What does it look like? You are exactly right. I never really looked that closely I guess I saw it next to the GTO and assumed it was a GT. well that is what i get for assuming. Now I am wondering why the engine covers are different. NightMare Silverado
I don't even try to judge a car by it's exterior anymore. I mean without the shaker my charger looks like a v6 because I pulled all the badges off.
GerryC
If Chris's is a 2008 that might be why. I looked at an 08 on eBay just now and the engine cover is different than mine.
whiterp199
It is probably something like that. I know the 08 and 09 interiors were a little bit different as well.

whiterp199
So do I. I realized it a little while after I posted it. Gerry also brought it to my attention. I have never looked that closely at your G8, I am always at the GTO.
694doorbird
Looking good Gerry  Goes to show you how much I know about those Pontiacs. I was thinking G6=6 cylinder, and G8=8 cylinder. Guess I was wrong.
