reaper8253
-For the paint, I used clayed, then swirl and haze, fmp, and then msw. which took forever. - fiberglass vet box was also treated with msw, anyone know if you could buff out minor swirls with the pc on fiberglass? - vrt all over the trim and moldings, tires, etc, - polished chrome on box with the metal polish - interior used adams leather conditioner on seats and all plastic interior parts for its higher spf rating. thanks for the support guys. lawdog
Truck looks great!! I will be doing my wife's vet truck as soon as I get my first shipment from Adams. She told me I needed to practice on her truck before I try and do the BMW. Unfortunately for me, the truck is a 3500 long bed 4x4, so I will be working on that thing forever:help:
reaper8253
Thanks paul, yea thats alot of truck, the box adds a bit more work though, haha. Im doing his chevy 2500 long bed next, and that things beat, the box is all powdery and faded; should be interesting.
Doug123
Ooh, get some before shots on that one! The contrast with the after shots should be really good.
reaper8253
yea i definitely will, interior not bad on that one, but the outside is really beat. Its a 2002 so its had its time just sitting outside not moving since the new truck came around, its in the back of one of the pics.
