Just recieved my machine polishing kit with the 4" buffing pads as well as the larger pads. Seems to be all here. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to go to the smaller pads. Just unscrew the pad adapter? Then just add to 4" pads. I will try this out this weekend. I have never used a machine polisher before always by hand I hope I don"t ruin my paint at all. I will try to take it slow and hope this works for me. I watched the videos and it seems like it is not to bad to do. Rick:2thumbs:

Well I can tell you that you won't burn your paint...check out Junkman's video on that...as far as the smaller pads, did it come with a smaller counter-weight? I know that there are different counter-weights for different size pads. Not sure about the 4" ones though.

there should be a smaller adapter to connect it to the pc there should be a longer one for the drill. just swap the heads on the pc and your good to go.

It's not a hard process but it IS time consuming... Take your time and do it right.

The 4" pads can be used for small surfaces or tight spots where the big pad would not fit.
