Removing Another Polish

Obsessed

Question

I have been using another product that begins with the letter Z. :( I have multiple coats on including one application this year. Now I am going to go full force with Adam's. My question: Will using the techniques I saw on the detail videos from Adam and the Junkman be enough to remove the old polish? I heard that you should first wash the car with Dawn liquid detergent to strip off all old wax or polish. Is this correct

First thing to understand is you don't have "old polish" on your finish... polish corrects a paint job, but doesn't leave anything behind. Sealants are what you'd be removing.

In my experience Draino w/ a Z doesn't require much to remove... do a dawn wash to start the stripping, clay, and then anything left behind will be knocked out by the SHR and FMP.
