too much product?

Just got done with the car,ready for wax. I am wondering if I was using too much product on my pads. Started out real well with each product ,But near the end of finishing with each pad it would not rotate real well It would start then stick then start then stick ect. Tried detail spray but did not work.

I did it all at 5,spread polish at 3.

Even if you had too much product I don't think it would do that on 5 speed. Maybe someone else will chime in!

ya it shouldnt do that i just did my first detail and i prob used abit to much product and i never had that problem

Did you have the PC vertical or horizontal? This does sound like a very peculiar problem.. I would also check the counterweight and make sure its not loose.

Were the grooves in the pads filled in a lot? If you used a lot of product, it tends to clog up/fill in the slots around the hex shapes on the pad surface.

Weight was tight groves in the pad did get filled up vertical polishing. Rick

Iv'e had the same problem. It works great on the flat surfaces but not the vertical surfaces. I just thought I was doing something wrong. Iv'e had the pc for 2 yrs and last year I didn't notice it.
