rrjjpp74
I am working on a Black Tahoe right now and the owner ran thru freshly painted highway lilnes. The paint has been on there for awhile and wondering what is the best way to get this off without harming anything? Rich

Stan DaMann
I've actually had luck with Mr. Clean's Bug & Tar Remover. http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Clean-Remover-Stick-Refill/dp/B000GKIEIO I get it at local stores. Be sure to follow with a coat of wax....
Chewy
THAT is nearly impossible from what I've been told. Another thing to try would be graffiti remover. Just make sure it won't harm the paint on the car. See PM Chris
Z71_Denali
you could try clay bar and A LOT of elbow grease.

Chris@Adams
you could try clay bar and A LOT of elbow grease. I have done this before and clay bar helped some, and picking with my fingernail took the rest off. It takes time.
Zeus_SVT
Get you some Mineral Spirits and spray it on a towel and wipe over it then try claying it off. I had tar get ALL over my truck one day because there was no sign where construction was working and I drove right into the fresh stuff at about 50 mph. This method worked well for me, it should do the same for paint as well, I would think. Just be sure to wash and rewax that area really well when done. Doug123
I know that you can certainly use clay&DS to get paint spots off the glass! Just did it for a friend last weekend.
Superdutytd
I've wetsanded it off before, but you really have to be careful. Mineral spirits has worked for some people. I also got some plastic razor blades.
