Adams 7.5 Pad on flex xc3401

I have a PC and yada yada yada. But i also have a flex xc3401 with 6" backing plate. Wondering if anyone knows if the 7.5" ADAMS pads will fit on the plate.

 

I know that the ADAMS backing plate is 5-7/8" so not sure if there is alittle slack that a 6" will fit

I used the pads with my flex but found that the high speed of the flex would tear the velcro backing and pad would not stick well after finishing just 1 car. Just something to keep in mind

I've done a lot of polishing with the flex and Adam's pads and never had any problems with velcro except for some of the pads getting a bit of a heat ring in their centers (The Flex itself gets HOT).

found that out the hard way...had one of the metal parts that was hot touch my arm and wowzers that baby was hotter then i thought lol.
