I worked on my moms saturn and I discovered something.
My dad did touch up on the hood with the Paintscratch.com paint pen. He did several coats over the next week, and the touch up spots looked real noticable. I got the PC 7424 out and went over a scratch on the hood that was near some of the paint chips.
After working the area for awhile with the orange 5" pad, I noticed as the product dried out, the paint blob around the chip lifted off.
So I put my 4" yellow pad on there used the SHR, and worked on the rest of the chips. The results were amazing. The yellow pad took off the touch up paint that was on the factory clear, but did not remove it from the inside of the chip.
Anyone else ever done that? To me this seems like a great way to do stone chips.
