Adam's Products Combo for Light Scratch Removal

dumbmoran

Question

Good evening all,

Unlike the other so-called major competitors, whether they are marketing towards the professional detailer or the weekend warrior, I do not see any specific Adams products geared specifically for the sole use light scratch removal.

So in lieu of a specific item made just for that purpose, I was wondering if one would grab the S&H Remover or FMP first to get rid of those hair line scratches.

And would the PC user use a orange or white pad or some other combo?

Thanks in advance to all that take the time to respond.

Here's the results I got out of using the 4 inch focus pads and a drill followed by the PC. I used the yellow 4" pad and SHR and then followed up with the orange and white pad with SHR and FMP on the PC.

I don't use wimpy cordless drill. I go whole hog with my B&D corded unit. Take it slow, make sure to use plenty of DS to keep the pad lubed and don't sit still or you'll burn through the paint. Your results can be as good as mine...

For the normal "cleaning" scratches I'd start with a white pad and FMP and test and if that doesn't work, move up to the orange and SHR. You always start with the least invasive way first.

You should watch this video series. You will find out that Adam's does have a product geared to exactly what you're looking for. :)
