Which Wax to Use

I am going to be washing/waxing a few of my neighbors and friends cars and I can't decide which wax to order, the MSW or the Buttery Wax. I am really leaning toward the Buttery because of its ease of application and removal (and a lower price). Just wondering what you guys think.

I love both, you are right buttery is a bit easier to work with and if you aren't using the PC then MSW wouldn't be advised.

If your neighbors don't care for their cars I would use MSW for it's durability. It's more work, but it will last a lot longer than the buttery.

they both have beautiful finishes IMO. I really can't tell the difference.

Finish quality depends far more on the work you put in prior to wax or sealing than the choice of wax or sealant. Personally, if it were me, I'd go for the Buttery unless you're being compensated for the extra time and effort required to do MSW.

Both are good choices, you can't go wrong! I think I vote for Buttery!

That's where I'm at! It's not really that much more work IMO.

 

MSW has one downfall... For optimal results you should rebuff after 12 hours or so. I never do. If it's a DD, there will be enough dust on it after 12 hours that they'll never see anything and the next wash will smooth it all out.
