Well, I got home last night from work and was just horrified at my rims on my 2010 Camaro. It was 7:15 and still 95 degrees, so I decided to wash the car. I began by cleaning the rims and wheels with the GWC. She has been neglected lately since I've been so busy at work and therefore, the break dust was caked on:willy:.
After cleaning the wheels, I loaded up the foam gun with Adam's cherry good shampoo and went to town. After completing my two bucket wash, I clayed the car. it wasn't as bad as I thought. I was expecting to run through an entire bar. Cleaned the exhaust tips with APC and clayed the glass. At this point it was 9:45 and time for me to put on my running shoes and hit the pavement. After finishing up my 5 miles and almost passing out, I stood in my driveway looking at the car. At that point I decided to forego going into work in the morning as I usually do to catch up on things on a Saturday and devote the day to making her perfect again.
Got up at 8:00 this morning. Popped the hood and detailed the engine bay with my new VRT and I&O which arrived Thursday. Pulled out the Vette and parked the Camaro in the garage for the big day. Started off with SHR and went to town with the Orange pad. From there, I broke out the FMP and the white pad really began to enjoy the heat index of 112!!!:help:
Now it was time for the black pad and the MSW. Applied a nice layer trying to keep the sweat from dripping all over the car. Threw a coat on the rims and sat back looking at the canvas. Just 12 hours to count down to remove the grape wonder and then apply one more coat, followed by the detailers best friend Americana:banana:. Getting up at 6:00 tomorrow to wipe her down and apply the second coat of MSW then apply my Americana at around 7:00pm.
I didn't get a chance to take any before pictures of the project, but will take a bunch of the completed journey.
Oh......!!!!! The new benefit from using Adam's is the weight loss. That is right boys and girls. I started off the day at 159lbs. Just now weighed myself and I'm 155.1lbs. I was having so much fun, I skipped breakfast, and lunch along with sweating buckets all day. Forget those Jenny Craig commercials, Adam needs a weight loss commercial. Loose up to 4lbs a day making your car look perfect:2thumbs:
Who knows, maybe I'll be down to 150 after tomorrow!!
