Rain in the middle

scs02C5

Question

It started out as a nice day so I washed, clayed, SHR, and FMP and washed again - and then it started to rain, my question is, if I catch a break tomorrow and the rain stops how should I proceed - I would like to get a couple of coats of MSW on and maybe Americana if advisable in a day - it's my DD so she needs to be ready by Tuesday am.

Thanks everyone

well you need about 10 to 12 hours minimum for MSW before you need to rewipe it so if you get a good early morning round of msw then when you come home a rewipe and apply again and then wipe in the morning and that evening hit with americana. the americana wont take as long just apply and wipe. or do 1 msw in morning then americana in the evening followed by BSG as another option.

Steve, Why did you wash again after SHR & FMP?

When the rain stops and you want to start again, I would go over the car with WCW or DS.Then like Dan said give one coat of MSW, wipe down and re wipe after 12 hours as needed!

Thanks for the reply's - I will give here a wipe down with WCW before I put on a coat of MSW - I have a chance today since it is not raining...yet. :xfingers:

As for why I washed again, I really don't have a good reason - it was starting to sprinkle as I was completing the FMP and I noticed I didn't get a couple of places during my first wash - down on the steps and my front grill needed some more attention, so I just decided to give here a quick wash down and thats when the rain started so I never even got a chance to dry her off.

Thanks again, I'll take some photo's if I get a chance.:hi:

Next time instead of washing use WCW or DS! Good job!:2thumbs:
