Undercarriage Spray on Undercoating

Kingsford

Question

I got some Undercarriage Spray and used it on my front wheel wells they look great!

BUT can I use it on the undercoating on my bed?

I dont know if it will work because its more of a painted metal. Its not bare metal it does have undercoating.

I want to make my passenger side rear wheel well dark because when I got my drivers side fixed they resprayed the undercoating and one side it black and the other side is like a mid-gray.

It's a silicon based product. I've used it on mine a ton with no issues, but it's not fresh either.

I want to use it on the not fresh side to match it to the other side. I didnt know if it was just meant for plastic or if it could be used on other stuff.

Use it on both the plastic liners and the undercoated wheel wells of the bed. In fact on my Silverado I just sprayed Dupli-color spray on undercoating, then keep it fresh with UCS. But on the bedliner, Rhino lining actually, I use VRT.

off topic but a bed question...do you have a bed liner? Have you used VRT on it? I used it on my dad's and hopped in the back after it had been in the sun for a few hours and it felt i was cooking my feet on a greased pan! OUCH!!

I used 50% VRT 50% Water on my bed liner. Then I wiped it down with a junk towel really good to knock down the greasiness. If you search my posts I made a thread about it with pictures.

VRT!

Never even crossed my mind Adam! I'll have to give it a try when the Undercarriage Spray starts to fade!

Should I use 50/50 or Straight VRT? I know the 50/50 would be easier to spray into the cracks and what not but would it run?
