Using SHR after MSW

Moz

Question

I wanted to know if I could use the SHR after I clay'd,Swirl removed, polished,Machine Super waxed?

I had detailed my TransAm and had corrected the finish to what I thought was 95% scratch free.Well I had the car out in the sun yesterday (non DD) and seen a couple spots I would like to go over with the SHR again BUT not sure if I can go over the MSW thats already on the finish?

Thank You in advance!:help:

That would be a little out of order. If you want to remove more swirls, then plan on redoing the entire section. The SHR (Swirl and Haze Remover) will move any protection (MSW) that is there now. You probably will need to use Fine Machine Polish to smooth the finish back out, then reapply MSW.

Then you get that section corrected perfectly, then on to the next section, and down the rabbit hole you go! :pc:

Thanks Everyone.

Looks like i'll be: Claying,SHR,FMP, then good ol' machine waxing again.

Thats OK,because the more you do the better the outcome (experience wise).

Hey Moz! Try a small section, a test spot, before finishing the car again. Get a 2' by 2' section perfect, then repeat the steps to get the rest of the car to the same level.

BTW: The Swirl & Haze Remover will remove the polish, and any protection offered by the MSW. :2thumbs:

Very good.

I have all the process down to do a full paint correction. You answer'd EXACTLY what I was looking for (using the SHR to go over all product process).

I have only 3 small spots (1'x2) to do so I doubt it will clog my pads?

Thank You Adam,
