Clay storage

GTO Guy

Question

I have always left my clay out in the garage cause standard clay is so hard. I just got a new product made in USA but not for sale in USA (yeah, figure that one out) and it is super soft. should I store this one in the fridge? it is the yellow riccardo. it is super elastic and i just done want it all turning in a blob. It's expensive to smuggle illegal clay ;) lemme know how you keep yours.

In the garage and I have not had problems. With the Adam's clay I break it into thirds, and store any unwrapped clay in wax paper. You may need to store the clay in the house (or other mild temp area) with the waxes and polishes.

I've tested the riccaro white and found it got almost crispy if put in the fridge. I just store mine at room temp in the office and its fine.

I think if i bring the clay into the bedroom, I will be in BIG trouble!
