Thanks to Ryan Howren for reminding me of this one

I have a mag mini in my tool box, a mag mini in my glove box, and a couple full size ones stashed around the house. Best of all Mag is based in Ontario, California... just a few miles from my house in Rancho!! :patriot:

Mag Instrument is the only flashlight company with significant market share that still manufacturers its entire line of flashlights in the United States. Unlike its competitors, Mag Instrument has chosen not to outsource the manufacturing of its flashlights to foreign countries in order to take advantage of cheap labor and less stringent environmental standards, which may also result in inferior quality.

The outsourcing of manufacturing by other U.S. companies has caused hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of jobs in the United States to be lost. Indeed, if Mag Instrument had chosen the path of other flashlight companies, the jobs of its approximately 800 employees in Ontario, California would have been lost.

I have had several Mag flash lights in the past... Flash lights to me are like watches are to other men... I can't have enough of them.

I currently have a plastic waterproof one that has an LED as well. I'll have to check to see where it's made.

LED FTW!

I use my iPhone flash LED as a flash light more than I thought I would.

I think I'll be ordering that xl100.. Would have been great under the house I just got out from under.

Thats what I was thinking... with all the attic crawling I've done in the past few weekends that would be a very handy light. My big Mag is a workhorse, but it certainly isn't light or easy to carry in tight spaces.

Here's another American made flash light for those who care... The arrow on the right it pointing at the USA but it's a VERY hard color to capture... They make other colors as well, but I find this color VERY easy to find.

The thing is nearly indestructible, intrinsic, and is light as a feather to boot.

It's made by Koehler Bright Star and is called the Razor. It uses one VERY bright LED and 3 AA batteries. It's waterproof blah blah blah...

I'm not sure they're all made in the USA.
