I won't be there personally but in my mind I will be. :D:D

16th Annual Woodward Cruise in the MotorCity is where I will be. It is the World's Largest One Day Auto Event.

I am praying it doesn't rain on us. If it does, Carlisle might be in the path. :xfingers:

I expect some really good pics from those that are attending!!!

Unfortunately I couldn't get anyone to put up with me for the long drive so I won't make it this year. I will just have to wait for Grabiaks next year to see Adam and all the crew. I too think like Ron that you have a lot better chance on nice weather since I won't be there.

Yeah, Tom! Heck, Chris's wife will be there, my wife will, Rich's wife too probably. There's a womens tent for her for when she gets sick of cars too. This definitely isn't just a guys event.

Thanks guys for the encouragement, but my wife Robin has a stress fracture in her foot and she is in the midst of 3 months of absolutely no weight on her left foot. She is on crutches and it is miserable for her to try to get around. I get her out of the house now and then but it is really difficult for her to get in and out of places including the car. She has another 6 weeks to go and we hope that it will be healed by then.

The wife and I may be heading up that way...this will be my first vette rally with my new Z06...

Lodging is full pretty much everywhere...looking at Harrisburg and Gettysburg, unless anyone knows of anything closer..

Any one have any experience with the installers, I am thinking about installing a B&B Fusion exhaust and intake...

UPDATED: Just realized my pic is out of date...I traded in my Charger SRT8 for an 2008 Fire Engine Red Corvette Z06:burnout:...car had only 800 miles on it when I picked her up...she is a gem...the wife is driving the CTS-V though...

Try searching www.choicehotels.com or www.super8.com .

We're staying at the Super 8 in Chambersburg/Scotland. Nice hotel, gas station, McDonalds, and a mall with some good places to eat directly across the street. It's 29 miles from the fairgrounds, but it's straight in on 81 and an easy drive early in the morning.

I have the B&B PRT's on my Vette. Go with the B&B's. They're great. I've had them on for about 6 years and never regretted a minute of it.

We'll be parked around row F close to the grandstand. So if any of you walk by and notice my Vette, stop and introduce yourselves.

/shakes his fist at the Navy paper pushers!!

I had plans to go down, see all the shiny Vettes and indulge my history buff addiction with a visit to Gettysburg.

BUT!!! There is a new (last few months) Govt of Canada version of our passports that all members of the Forces have to have. Strangely enough as an instructor at the engineering school, I am somewhat down the list behind folks posted to the ships to have mine processed. LOL.

Ahh well, maybe next year.
