Here are some pictures of the event we had this past weekend. We had 70 cars which honestly was darn good for a first year event.

Not the greatest but hey.... What can I say? Don't buy a Sony point and shoot.

Takes good video but CARPY pics... Time for a Nikon DSLR...

I wish I had the Xsi. Obviously I'd love to have the bigger and badder one but the Xsi will do....one day. :):)

D3100 is my wish and goal... It's coming out in a couple of weeks and get's good first impression reviews. I have a Nikon SLR and two lens's so I wouldn't NEED to buy lens's straight away. I think it's 800 bucks and shoots 1080P.

I hear ya Eric. I'm hoping Adams will step up and help us out next year. I think they'd have had a great result with the 70 cars that were there this year. My I&O was well received by those I showed it to.

The looks you get with 20+ G8's in tow is pretty cool. I of course led the cruise because well... #1 Black is fastest and #2 I live here... :D I like #1 best though... :lolsmack:

Thats funny I'm gunning for a D3100 myself... I just can't spend the cash on a D90; but I got to play w/ Dylan's D90 yesterday

The fact is I don't NEED anything that nice. I LOVED my SLR which is all but extinct now and want to get into something like it again.

The D3100 is MUCH better than the 3000 IMO.

I've been told with the lens quality, they take AMAZING 1080P video.

It's got everything I need for a hobbyist.

Good stuff!! Great turnout for a first year event.... hopefully next year I'll be able to get involved and maybe setup a clinic as part of the festivities.

We're all but betting on it... We wanted you there this year as you know but we understand that rules are rules... lol

You'd have at the very least paid for your trip this year. There were quite a few Adams people there. The guys I showed the I&O to were surprised and loved it.:)
