Painted Fender Flares Question

I recently got some Bushwacker Pocket Flares and had them paint matched.

They were painted and clearcoated.

I was wondering what to use on them. I obviously wash them the same as the truck and used the detail spray on them when drying but I was wondering about Polish and Wax. Would it be ok to use polish and wax on them? If not what would be the best route? Thanks

You need to wait 60-90 days before polising or waxing. Stick with DS & WCW! Looks good!

So after 60-90 days it would be good to polish and wax them?

If the flares are painted and clear coated, then polish and wax should be fine. As always, start with the least aggressive method first.

 

BTW, what wheels do you have?

Yep, if the truck sets out you could probably get by with 60, if it sets in the garage I would wait 90 days.The paint cures quicker out in the sun!

When I do polish and wax them I will do it by hand. Flares that is not the whole truck

 

The wheels are Mamba M2 18x9.

why wouldnt you be able to polishes? as long as you're apply wax or sealant to the flares you'll be fine. the paint needs 60-90 days to gas out.
