Blotchy VRT???

Hello, i just finished detailing a brand new Honda Civic. The car came out beautiful but on all the trim and tires where I used VRT it is blotchy. I went over all areas twice, and even deluted some VRT with water and still blotchy. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would help.

Try cleaning the area with APC first

CORRECT! The area may have been treated previously with something else, keeping it from looking its best.

 

APC is your friend here.

I'd have to agree with Chris.

Like the others stated... Super VRT won't bond if old dressings (even old VRT) are present. Clean the area completely with APC and try a fresh application.

 

Also keep in mind that the product does not go on thick... so if you over apply you can get blotches... wipe the blotchy areas down with a clean/dry towel to even out the application.
