akazanar
Half way through clay barring my car and am about out of detail spray. What can I go buy at the autoparts store that will work until I can get more Adam's ordered?
IMADreamer
any detail spray will work as lube, Mequiars, Mothers, etc.
whiterp199
I have used other companies quick detailers just get a well known one. They do not work as well as Adams but they will get the job done. Alternatively you can use a water with a little bit of soap in it. Waterless wash can work in a pinch but is a tad to slippery for my tastes. b_pappy
Correct, for claying any of those will work in a pinch, even Optimum No Rinse can be diluted and used. Then stock up & never run low again! Bruce
Team Adam's
a few drops of our car soap mixed in a sprayer makes an excellent substitute lubricant and since its pH neutral it won't deteriorate the claybar.

akazanar
Thanks for the tips everyone. My first time washing a car the right way. Bought the esseentials kit and already ran out of the detailer! Will be ordering gallons of it, the wash and the all purpose cleaner when I get done today! Be on the lookout for pics later.
