Man, what a weekend. The weather was amazing.......upper 70's low 80's with absolutely no rain. There wasn't even 1 cloud in the sky on Saturday. We didn't stay for Sunday, but I heard it got a bit warm.

Anyhow, here's some of what went on.

Early morning (around 6:30 a.m) on Friday. Not a lot going on just yet, but things filled up fast.

I got to cleaning right away. I was parked on the ONLY road in the fairgrounds that wasn't paved and used almost a whole bottle of waterless wash both days to get the dust off. That and detail spray kept her looking good all weekend.

Cars started filing in:

This guy was parked right behind me. Pretty cool Vette.

The boys (and girls) over at the Adam's tent were hopping all weekend. By Friday night, they were sold out of some product already!!

Then Friday evening, Adam once again outdid himself with his generosity and kindness, even to the point of wounding himself and ending up in the E.R.

The food! Holy cow the amount of food! 7 of the six foot subs! Pans and pans of baked ziti. Bread! And I lost count of how many pizzas were there.

And of course, no shortage of drinks to go around either. Chris and I were calling this guy Woodstock or Woodstick all night because he carried a big walking stick with him all the time.

And of course, all the great folks who showed up. If you recognize yourself, speak up.

And of course, our boss and host

Thank you Adam. Small words, but very much meant. It's been a great pleasure to become your friend over these years.

Yeah it was the best i saw. And i am not making this up.

Jesse, that's a nice compliment. Thank you.:grouphug:

No kudos, but the people beside me had a matched set of 1961's that get one every year, and the guy behind me got one. It's pretty much "you have to know someone" to get it at Vettes. There are just too many there to try and find something special. There was a rat Vette that got one last year. Total barn find, dug out of the weeds and never restored. Pretty unique. I'm not disappointed though. Not getting one meant I didn't have to drive home and back again the next day. I was beat!

Same here Al. Although I would have appreciated a ride at least. :D

Hey Rich

I absolutely owe you a ride/drive.....Carlisle is tough as I attend with a group, we get there early to snag prime spots (we were just behind the Corvette Racing truck this year), and I don't move the car again until we head home at the end of the weekend.

In fact, the short drive (1/4 mile??) to the Adams Tent this year was the *FIRST* time I've ever moved my car during the event in all the years I've been going...

Grabiak's???

:cheers::burnout:
