Becoming an Adams Convert...From TX

CamaroSS

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

New to the forum and have a 2010 Black SS/RS, a 1968 327 Camaro and a parking lot full of GM's...

Joined the forum on a great day for the foam gun and my order is filling $$ fast! The Addiction is becoming full force. Going for the D/A kit, and the Americana on sale is too good to pass up!:willy:

Any tips are appreciated and I look forward to the Adams shine...Already love their DS, WW, and MF towels I already have..

Gotta put it out there and say I am a Junkman fan also!:jester:

And love that Adams is at my Alma Mater! Gotta love Boulder...:2thumbs:

Cheers...

Welcome aboard! It's a crazy addiction with Adams for sure. You will soon discover that this probably one of the friendliest most helpful forums around. I have a perfectly good foam gun that I use, but my addiction is probably going to lead to me buying the Adams gun!

What a great addiction....

Foam Gun, Porter Cable D/A n Polishes, Americana, New BG and extras on order.

My family thinks I'm nuts...Just the way I like it.:lolsmack:

My father-in-law, (a serious camaro head) will be my first convert. We share the 1968 camaro and he thinks water/soap and rags are the way to go. I may have to sick AJ on him...:jester: School will be in session.

After I figure it out!:pc:

Thanks for the nice :welcomebanner:

If you have never clayed any of them before, you will need extra clay and lots of detail spray for clay lube. Get extra detail spray, an extra claybar, and extra double plush towels. Trust me, you will use them. Spare clay has saved a weekend detail session once for me. :)

You are gonna love this stuff.

I am going to do the same thing with my Dad. He has a 1982 Corvette that he and my Mom wash and sometimes wax. They use that Mr. Clean Autowash gun thing.

I know how you feel about becoming addicted and having family think you're crazy. :) My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts, but she does love the way the cars look :)

The best part of this forum...is that I am not the only one who is like this.:lolsmack:

I can't wait to see the final outcome and what my father-in-law says. Already working on him slowlly...Actually he is prob smarter...already got me doing the detailing and future washing. And he still thinks i'm nuts...just wait til it shines... Then he will have a big ol smile at the car shows...

Good times.....Thanks again for all the nice :welcomebanner:'s
