Hello.. I'm new to detailing... but old to cars in general. I currently own a 1994 black Miata, a white Volvo XC60 and a beige colored Winnebago Navion 25' RV. I use various products, off the shelf usually, to protect and beautify them. I've been using a product called "One Step Sealer" by a local detailing shop... Griots Garage... here in Tacoma. I've not been totally thrilled with the results... especially on my black Miata. For the RV.. which is a 2019 I mainly want to protect the gelcoat outer shell from sun damage. Griots recommended their one step sealand for both of these jobs. As i said.. I'm mainly not happy with the results obtained on my black car. Below is a link to some photos of the "after" results. I did the work with a random orbital, orange pad and the previously mentioned polish. It looked great in the garage.. but once outside in the sun... well, you can see the swirls. So.. if you have any thoughts on this.... and for protecting the gelcoat on the RV... I'd appreciate your help! If you need to move this post to some other forum... that's great too!
P.S. ... here is a google album with the after photos of my Miata and it's swirls!
