IMADreamer
Hi all, I'm hoping you can help. I'm looking for some a wire stripper/crimper/cutter that is made in the USA. I've found a few but they are the very basic kind. I'm looking for the kind that you stick the wire in squeeze the handles and it strips and pulls back the insulation all in one motion. I will be using these mainly for car audio and lighting. So I'll be working in tight spaces which is why I want the kind that strip and remove insulation in one motion. I'm coming up empty on the made in America part though. Thanks.
Chewy
Try Klein. Their VERY well known in the electrical industry. I've never been fond of the auto strippers though. They work OK for a bit and then stop working. Chris

mcss383
Klein > all However, my favorite wire strippers are Ideal. They have a larger, softer grip that is angled, it just feels better. Klein probably makes a similar style now and it would be better built by them.
DieselDude
However, my favorite wire strippers are Ideal. I agree mine are for 10-22 gauge wire. I got mine at Lowe's.
