  1. With it being spring, th birds are back in town and making target practice of my truck. It's time to wash it, but I'm not sure how to go about "detailing" a truck that's been rattle canned. He sprayed directly overtop of the original paint/clear coat and you can see be chips that have already occurred. Is there a way to clay/buff this truck to get a good look, or am I stuck with standard wash until a proper paint job is done?

  2. I am attempting to make a purchase on adamspolishes.com and I am receiving a notice that shipping charges cannot be calculated, which in turn will not allow me to move forward with reviewing and completing my purchase.  I am using the SITELAUNCH coupon code for free shipping, and I even went through and updated my addresses thinking there were new fields with the new site.  Are others experiencing this?  Is this a known issue that's being looked into?  What is the expected timing of this issue being resolved?

  3. I don't want to hijack the thread, but I have clay bar questions as well.  The question I had was answered above, regarding the step after claying.  But based on the video I watched, and correct me if I'm wrong as it has been a while since I watched the video, I seem to remember Adam and Dylan leaving the clay residue on the vehicle as they were going to be polishing and there was no need to remove the clay residue before polishing.  With that in mind, my question is can the Revive Hand Polish be used after claying without having to remove the clay residue?  I have never clayed before and would really like to, but I would rather not have to rewash the truck after doing so.

  4. Coming from someone that has raised sheep for many years, I would say a dog brush SHOULD NOT be used.  These brushes are meant more for shedding purposes and pulling hair away from the coat.  For wool, you want to use a wool card with very few teeth.  One for fine wool breeds would be best to fluff fibers instead of tangling the fibers into the brush and pulling them out.  To fluff the fibers, you don't want to brush from one side to the other.  You want to start at one end, place the card just into the fibers, and softly pull backwards against the way the fibers are laying.  it can be a lengthy process, but the slower you work the better the outcome.

  5. Hey yall!  I recently bought a 2013 Ram 1500 and people on my Ram Forum suggested I look into Adam's Polishes for cleaning my truck.  I have been purchasing products constantly ever since.  Love the products! Thought I would join up for tips and other information.  I find myself watching the YouTube videos all the time to make sure I'm doing what I'm supposed to, but I wanted to go another step forward.  Hope to find good stuff here!
