I had some time this weekend and thought it was time to remove the rust from the rear rotor hats and repaint them with something a little more durable than the silver paint that comes on them. I have just over 6k miles on the car and the paint was starting to come off.
I removed the rotors and ended up doing a god cleaning of the undercarriage.
I had a few friends help me out.
Sanded real well, cleaned with alcohol and masked for paint.
I used a duplicolor caliper paint. I did a few coats letting it tack up in between each coat.
Hey all, just wanted to say hello from Cincinnati Ohio. I'm new to detailing and to Adam's and I appreciate what I've already learned from trolling around the forum. I've recently received my first order from Adam's and I look forward to putting these products to good use! :-)
